3D ENVIRONMENT ARTIST

(CONTRACT / FREELANCE)

Our team is looking for a Contract/Freelance 3D Environment Artist for an unannounced game IP.

What You’ll Take On

  • Developing Environmental Assets and kits with a focus on stylized realism, pbr shaders and materials, and dynamic lighting.

  • Craft both unique environment assets and those that are flexible use or modular contsruction.

  • Creating Terrain Surfaces and other tileables.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in game development in 3D environment art.

  • Experienced with game development pipelines and game engines like Unreal and Unity (Unreal preferred).

  • Experience in both natural and architectural environment production.

  • High level of proficiency with Max, Maya or Blender, Z-Brush, and Substance Designer & Painter

  • Interest in the fantasy, cosmic horror, science fiction, and adventure genres.

Founded in March of 2022, Sword and Wand is a fully remote studio based in the United States by industry veterans with past experience at Turtle Rock, Monolith, Volition, and other AAA studios.

Backed by VC funding, we are building the next great co-operative PVE third person action game for PC and Consoles.

Our core focus is in enabling people to play games together - both internally as developers and in creating amazing, connected experiences for our fans.
